Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 4, 2026

The short version

StripeClose (stripeclose.com) generates a Stripe month-end closing report from a read-only Stripe key you provide. Your key is used only to fetch the data for your report and is never stored, logged, or retained. We keep no accounts and no database of your financial data.

1. Your Stripe key

To build your report, your restricted read-only Stripe key is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server, used to read your payouts and balance transactions for the selected month, and then discarded when the response is sent back to you. It is never written to any database, log file, or disk, and never shared with anyone. A restricted read-only key cannot move money, create charges, or issue refunds. We recommend you revoke the key in your Stripe dashboard whenever you like — your report is already downloaded to your device.

2. Your report data

The closing package, transaction tables, and CSV/journal exports are generated for your request and returned to your browser. We do not retain a copy of your Stripe data after the response is delivered. There is no account, no history, and nothing to log back into.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense) and cookies

StripeClose is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, to measure ad performance, and to prevent fraud. These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and we do not have access to the data they collect.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — page views, approximate geography, device type. Analytics never receives your Stripe key or your report data. You can block it with any content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

5. Donations

The cryptocurrency donation addresses on this site are receive-only. A donation reveals only what any public blockchain transaction reveals — no name, email, or other personal information is shared with us.

6. Children's privacy

This site is a business tool not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
